About The Site
The Kansas City Ledger is a comprehensive business directory of companies in the Kansas City DMA. The directory was built by Demand Stack, a web design and marketing agency located in Overland Park, KS. The motivation to build the site came after looking for an existing business directory for Kansas City and not finding anything that was comprehensive. We'll continue to add companies and attributes to the site over-time. We hope this is a valuable tool for companies in the KC area, or for companies researching Kansas City's business community.
How To Add or Claim Your Company
To ensure your company list listed on The Kansas City Ledger, follow these steps.
Create an account or log in to your existing account.
On the dashboard do a search for your company name.
If your company appears, click claim it. Your claim goes into a queue. Once it's approved, you'll be able to edit your information.
If you don't see your company when you search, click Add Company. Then fill in the form and save. A representative will review the information. Once your company is approved, you'll be able to edit your company details.
Listing Requirements
Listed below are the requirements for getting your company listed on The Kansas City Ledger.
Your company
headquarters
must be located in the Kansas City DMA (Counties: Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass, Ray, Lafayette, Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, Douglas)
Your company’s primary industry must align with one of the
industries currently published
on The Ledger. Additional categories may be considered in future updates. Feel free to contact us about specific industries you feel should be added to the site.
You must be an authorized representative or owner of the company to submit or claim a listing.
All submissions are subject to editorial review to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment.
